Pre-Sea Medical Examinations (PSME)

Pre-Sea Medical Examinations are conducted before person embarks upon seafaring career. This is more stringent bearing in mind that the objective is to head-off an unhealthy or unwise career choice.

Periodic Medical Examinations (PME)

Periodic Medical Examinations are conducted at periodic intervals during seafarer’s career. Provides opportunity to ensure that a seafarer remains fit for sea-service by identifying medical conditions which may have developed since the seafarer entered the profession.

Pre - Employment Medical Examinations (PEME)

Pre-Employment Medical Examinations (PEME) are conducted before the seafarer reports to a employer for employment / sea-service or offshore service. This is based on specific requirements of the employer taking into account Statutory guidelines and Non Statutory requirements.

Post - Employment Medical Examinations

Post-Employment Medical Examinations are conducted after the completion of employment contract. This gives an opportunity to identify medical conditions which may have developed during the course of employment.
